We are sending you a correspondence regarding the case of the murder of Komsomol member and teacher Galina Grigor’evna Mukhartova. We believe that this case involves not only a common crime but a political one as well. You can judge from the materials in the possession of Krest’ianskaia Gazeta this case has by no means been fully investigated and the guilty parties in the tragic death of Komsomol member Mukhartova have remained unexposed and no charges have been filed against them.

We request that you call in this case through the procurator of Kalinin Oblast and review it for purposes of oversight, since the Kalinin Oblast Procurator’s Office, in our opinion, was not attentive enough to this case and completely overlooked the political aspects of this case and the indirect culprits in Mukhartova’s death.
