Vladimir Afanasivich Sychov

I am reporting to you that I recieved the leters and presints you sent for wich V. A. Sychov my Wife mother and brother send you their deep gratatude.

To the letter recieved fram you what the triangle of our sovkhoz must do they done the following mesures:

They bought for my apartment one table four chairs one clothe closit and a portabil gramophone. They assined me to a teecher who started working with me. I walk six kilo[meters] to studie. As for geting footwear we are in bad shape because there is nowhere to buy it because we live a long way fram town. As for food I am not in need. As for selling a cow or calve the Manigemint of our sovkhoz cant do it without the Trusts permishin. Fodder for our hogs costs 65 rubles a centner of barly. A club was setup in our section. It oftin has producshins and films. The politikil department and the workers committee supplied us with a library and they oftin give us talks on the stakhanovite movement.

At the presint time I want to join the ranks of stakhanovites to. For the summer period 91 out of 100 head calved. As of 15 november 1935 all the calves are alive. I turned over 72 calves on 24 october 1935 to the generil herd in fine shape. The other 19 are with me. The whole summer I didnt have one head run away or aborshin. 7 head are calving this munth.

We are rasing the calves byhand. I am fullfilling the november milk plan to 103% in liters. I got temparary shelters all reddy for the winter. They are putteed inside and outside and witewashed. They just didnt get glass put in because the maniger says theres no glass. The calf shed is reddy to but dosnt have glass either.

Fodder for the winter was delivered to storehouses 1 km away and 80% closer.

The sovkhoz divied up the livestock but they didnt form the herds yet and I dont know what livestock Im going to spend the winter with. They want to give me a crossbreed calf born 1933 but we dont have them in our section. My livestock is 86% covered for 1936 because there are cows that calved recintly in november and there are pregnint ones that Im not counting for 1936. I have four recordbraking cows that are mongrils. For two and three burths they produced 18 liters and the calf suckled and just now I discovered another recordbraker a firstimer calved on 25 March 1935. I put her under speshil observation and brought up her level fram seven lit to sixteen lit with a norm of four kl [kg] of bran and one k of oilcake and in futur we will work like Comrade Aleksei Stakhanov.

These are the shortcumings here on the part of the administrashin and the buro for rasing calves: there are no drinking bowls for cows, no towls, no cheescloth. There is no soap during milking [and] no kerosine. The milkmaids dont have overalls either. There never even were any handbasins. There are no troffs for the cows to drink fram at the storehouses. The above mentioned shortcumings may cause losses to our sovkhozes and the whole country too. Maybe I was wrong to write and made mistakes then dont pay attenshin because I cant read or write much.
