Welcome to the on-line text of William Chase's new book, Enemies within the Gates? This site is a supplement to the printed version of the book. It includes additional documents, commentary, and text that are not part of the printed edition. The text is organized by chapter, with hotlinks to footnotes and documents within each section. To access a note or document, simply click on the highlighted text or number. A new window will appear containing your selection. Additionally, you can access the documents from the List of Translated Documents. Because this site contains more documents than the printed edition, please note that they may be numbered differently. The List of Translated Documents contains a conversion table for easier navigation in these cases. Documents that are unique to the web edition are specially marked.
